Digital Daydream (2026), 10 page (print) (8.5” x 11”)
Editorial Design · Publication · Research · Art Direction · InstallationDeveloped over 15 weeks during my final semester, Digital Daydream is a 10-page zine exploring escapism, identity, and the influence of digital media on how we grow up.
Through research and an interview with a professional, I explored how media can act as a form of escape—allowing people to disconnect from reality, imagine different lives, and experiment with their identities. I translated this research into a playful editorial experience inspired by the teen magazines and digital spaces of the 2000s.
The zine uses quizzes, polls, bold typography, colorful layouts, and interactive elements to recreate the nostalgic feeling of growing up with early digital media. The publication was then placed within a 2000s-inspired bedroom, creating an immersive environment that reflects the personal spaces where imagination, self-expression, and identity can develop.
Digital Daydream combines research, editorial design, and environmental storytelling to examine how the media we grew up with shaped the way we escape, create, and understand ourselves.
